Verdant hills appear
And color the world like the
Newborns on the earth.
Juicy fruits ripen and show
All vibrant colors in the
Rainbow of life.
Skin slowly aging
Losing color and spirit
Like leaves in the fall.
Legs slide against leg
Dry, scaly skin chafes against
Seasoned flannel sheets.
